This document provides information on printing requirements for images, embellishments and fonts when creating files in native applications; and how to create a high resolution PDF file for use at McPherson’s Printing Group (MPG).

Sending files to McPherson’s Printing Group using FTP via an internet based file transfer service. This service uses FTP technology, but can be accessed using a standard web browsing software such as Internet Explorer or Safari.

McPherson’s have supplied our Acrobat Distiller settings McPhersons.joboptions which you can download and install into your Acrobat job options folder. These settings will assist you in presenting files that we can easily process in our prepress departments. Right click on the link above and save the zipped file to your desktop, then unzip the McPhersons.joboptions file and copy it to your Acrobat Distiller joboptions folder.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is used to view and print Portable Document Files (PDF) which are used extensively by McPherson's Printing on this website. If you would like to download the latest version click on the link below.
